Theatre isn't just performing. There is so much that happens before rehearsals even start. Directors, actors, and design staff all start by reading the script and asking questions about the themes and story. Teen Script Club is where those conversations happen.

Teen Script Club is a free monthly gathering for teens (ages 13-18) to discover scripts, explore character roles, and read & analyze stories together.

We meet monthly on the first Friday from 4-6 pm.  Don't worry about reading the script beforehand. We'll be doing a cold, table read together! Roles will be assigned based on attendance and participants will read directly from the script. Come as often as you can - you don't need to attend every month to be in the club.

This month's script is The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa FastHorse.

A troupe of well-meaning white theater artists attempt to create a politically correct elementary school play about the first Thanksgiving while struggling with their own biases and the lack of Native American representation.

This production contains adult language, racism, and mature themes.
